Effect of patients and their families participatory humanistic story sharing meeting on nurses' empathy

患者及家属参与式人文故事分享会对护士共情能力的影响

Abstract:

Objective To explore the effect of patients and their families participatory humanistic story sharing meeting on nurses' empathy. Methods A self-contrast method was used in the study. A total of 36 liaison officers from the Nursing Humanistic Group of Jieyang People's Hospital from July 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects, all female, with working years ≥2 years. Among them, 3 cases were 20-25 years old, 9 cases were >25-30 years old, 14 cases were >30-40 years old, and 10 cases were >40-50 years old. The nurses' empathy and professional identity were investigated before and after the implementation of patients and their families participatory humanistic story sharing meeting. Paired t test was used. Results After the implementation, the scores of viewpoint taking [(6.12±0.57)], emotional care [(6.23±0.78)], and transpositional consideration [(6.23±0.65)] and total score [(18.78±1.23)] of the empathy ability were higher than those before the implementation, with statistically significant differences (all P<0.05). After the implementation, the scores of sense of control and self-efficacy [(35.87±3.87)], sense of agreement [(24.76±4.23)], and sense of significance [(17.56±2.45)], sense of influence [(26.83±3.21)], and sense of self-determination [(16.75±3.76)] and total score [(119.78±21.57)] of the nurses' professional identity were higher than those before the implementation, with statistically significant differences (all P<0.05). Conclusion The patients and their families participatory humanistic story sharing meeting can improve the nurses' professional identity and empathy, with significant practical value.

摘要:

目的 探究患者及家属参与式人文故事分享会对护士共情能力的影响。方法 本研究采用自身前后对照方法。选取2021年7月至2022年12月在揭阳市人民医院护理人文小组的36名联络员作为研究对象,36名人文小组联络员均为女性,工作年限≥2年;年龄:20~25岁3名,>25~30岁9名,>30~40岁14名,>40~50岁10名。分别调查并比较在患者及家属参与式人文故事分享会项目开展前后护士的共情能力及职业认同感。采用配对t检验。结果 项目开展后,共情能力中的观点采择评分(6.12±0.57)分、情感护理评分(6.23±0.78)分、换位思考评分(6.23±0.65)分、总分(18.78±1.23)分,均高于项目开展前,差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.05);护士职业认同感中的把握感和自我效力感评分(35.87±3.87)分、一致感评分(24.76±4.23)分、有意义感评分(17.56±2.45)分、影响感评分(26.83±3.21)分、自我决定感评分(16.75±3.76)分、总分(119.78±21.57)分,均高于项目开展前,差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。结论 患者及家属参与式人文故事分享会能提高护士的职业认同感与共情能力,具有显著的应用价值。
