Effect applying remote wireless self-controlled intrathecal analgesia system in hospice care for patients with cancer pain

远程自控鞘内镇痛系统在癌痛患者安宁疗护中的应用效果

Abstract:

Objective To observe the effect applying remote wireless self-controlled intrathecal analgesia system in hospice care for patients with advanced cancer pain. Methods A total of 32 patients with advanced cancer pain who underwent implantation of intrathecal drug delivery devices in Department of Pain Medicine, Second Hospital, Guangzhou Medical University from March 2021 to November 2022 were selected, including 14 males and 18 females who were (62.59±12.93) years old. The Numerical Rating Scale (NRS), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), and Barthel Index (BI) were used to assess the patients' pain degree, sleep quality, and life self-care ability before and after the operation. The repetitive measure analysis of variance was used. Results The scores of NRS and PSQI the first day after surgery (T1), when they discharged (T2), and 1 week after discharge (T3) were lower than those before the operation (all P<0.001). There was no statistical difference between the scores of BI at T0 and T3 [(65.94±26.98) vs. (60.16±24.21); P=0.106]. Conclusion Application of remote wireless self-controlled intrathecal analgesia system in hospice care for patients with advanced cancer pain can reduce their pain and improve their life quality and sleep quality, and is safe.

摘要:

目的 观察远程无线自控鞘内镇痛系统在晚期癌痛患者安宁疗护中的应用效果。方法 选取广州医科大学附属第二医院疼痛科2021年3月至2022年11月进行植入鞘内给药装置的32例晚期癌痛患者,其中男性14例、女性18例,年龄(62.59±12.93)岁,通过疼痛数字评分法(NRS)、匹兹堡睡眠质量指数(PSQI)及巴塞尔指数(BI)评估患者手术治疗前后的疼痛程度、睡眠质量及生活自理能力,统计学方法采用重复测量方差分析。结果 手术治疗后第1天(T1)、出院时(T2)、出院1周(T3)的NRS评分、PSQI评分均较手术治疗前(T0)降低(均P<0.001);T0与T3的BI评分比较[(65.94±26.98)分比(60.16±24.21)分],差异无统计学意义(P=0.106)。结论 远程无线自控鞘内镇痛系统在晚期癌痛患者安宁疗护中应用,可减轻患者疼痛,提高患者生活质量和睡眠质量,安全性高,适于临床推广。
