Effect of progressive upper extremity functional exercise on patients with systemic lupus erythematosus

渐进式上肢功能锻炼对系统性红斑狼疮患者的效果研究

Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of progressive upper extremity functional exercise on hand function, activity, and quality of life in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. Methods A total of 49 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus admitted to Department of Rheumatology and Immunology, Tengzhou Central People's Hospital from January to June 2021 were selected as a control group, and 49 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus admitted from July to December 2021 were selected as an experimental group. There were 14 males and 35 females in the control group, with an age of (32.22±1.87) and a disease course of 3.0 to 8.0 years; the experimental group included 17 males and 32 females, with an age of (32.09±1.71) and a disease course of 3.5 to 9.0 years. There were no statistical differences in the general data between the two groups. The control group received routine nursing care and did voluntary exercise. On this basis, the experimental group formulated a progressive upper limb function exercise program according to individual differences. The differences in hand function, daily activities, and quality of life between the two groups were compared. The SPSS 19.0 software was used for statistical analysis, t test was used for the measurement data, and χ2 test for the count data. Results Fourteen days after the intervention, the grip strength and pinch strength of the hands were (29.48±9.56) SD and (5.67±1.68) SD in the experimental group, and were (23.83±9.54) SD and (4.01±2.06) SD in the control group, with statistical differences (t=10.616 and 4.675; P<0.001); the scores of upper limb activity function and upper limb symptom were (49.17±5.23) and (17.66±2.37) in the experimental group, and were (56.33±4.54) and (19.46±2.34) in the control group, with statistical differences (t=5.701 and 3.604; both P<0.001); the scores of physical health and fatigue were (72.90±21.45) and (69.43±22.16) in the experimental group, and were (57.33±22.13) and (57.46±22.49) in the control group, with statistical differences (t=12.795 and 11.605; both P<0.001). Conclusion Progressive upper limb function exercise for patients with systemic lupus erythematosus can improve their grip and pinch strength of the hands, functional status of the upper limbs, and physical health and fatigue, and is helpful for their recovery.

摘要: 目的 探究渐进性上肢功能锻炼对系统性红斑狼疮患者手功能、活动及其生活质量的影响。方法 选取2021年1月至6月收住于滕州市中心人民医院风湿免疫科的系统性红斑狼疮患者49例作为对照组,7月至12月收住的系统性红斑狼疮患者49例为试验组。对照组中男14例,女35例,年龄(32.22±1.87)岁,病程3.0~8.0年;试验组中男17例,女32例,年龄(32.09±1.71)岁,病程3.5~9.0年。两组患者的一般资料差异均无统计学意义。对照组进行常规护理和随意运动锻炼,试验组在此基础上,根据患者个体差异拟定渐进式上肢功能锻炼方案,比较两组患者手功能、日常活动及生活质量的不同。采用SPSS 19.0软件进行统计学分析,计量资料采用t检验,计数资料采用χ2检验。结果 干预14 d后,试验组患者手部的握力为(29.48±9.56)SD、捏力(5.67±1.68)SD,显著高于对照组[(23.83±9.54)SD、(4.01±2.06)SD],两组比较,差异均有统计学意义(t=10.616、4.675,均P<0.001)。干预14 d后,试验组患者上肢活动功能评分为(49.17±5.23)分,上肢症状评分为(17.66±2.37)分,锻炼水平显著优于对照组[(56.33±4.54)分、(19.46±2.34)分],两组比较,差异均有统计学意义(t=5.701、3.604,均P<0.001)。干预14 d后,试验组患者的身体健康评分为(72.90±21.45),身体疲劳评分为(69.43±22.16)分,均显著优于对照组[(57.33±22.13)分、(57.46±22.49)分],两组比较,差异均有统计学意义(t=12.795、11.605,均P<0.001)。结论 渐进式上肢功能锻炼能改善系统性红斑狼疮患者手部的握力、捏力、上肢功能状况,并有效改善患者的身体健康和疲劳情况,有助于患者的康复。
