IgM detection results of antibodies against respiratory pathogens before and after COVID-19 at Songjiang District, Shanghai

上海市松江区新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情前后呼吸道病原体抗体IgM检测分析

Abstract:

Objective To understand the detection of respiratory pathogen immunoglobulin (Ig) M antibodies in patients with respiratory infection at Songjiang District before and after COVID-19. Methods The serum samples were collected from 5 769 patients who were 3-86 years old and were hospitalized with respiratory tract infection in Songjiang District Central Hospital from March 2019 to February 2021, including 3 335 males and 2 434 females. The indirect immunofluorescence assay was used to detect respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), adenovirus (ADV), influenza A virus (INFA), influenza B virus (INFB), parainfluenza virus (PIV), mycoplasma pneumonia (MP), chlamydia pneumoniae (CP), and legionella pneumophila (LP). The results were analyzed by Chi-square test. Results From March 2019 to February 2020, 279 of 3 579 patients with respiratory tract infection were positive in IgM antibody of respiratory tract pathogen spectrum, with a positive rate of 7.8% (279/3 579). The positive rates of INFB and INFA were 3.16% (113/3 579) and 1.06% (38/3 579), respectively. From March 2020 to February 2021, among 2 190 patients with respiratory tract infection, 284 were positive in IgM antibody of respiratory tract pathogen spectrum, and the positive rate was 12.97% (284/2 190). The positive rates of INFB and INFA were 7.21% (158/2 190) and 3.88% (85/2 190), respectively. Conclusion There are differences in the distribution of positive rates of respiratory pathogen antibody IgM at Songjiang District before and after COVID-19.

摘要: 目的 了解新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情前后松江区呼吸道感染患者的呼吸道病原体抗体免疫球蛋白(Ig)M检测情况。方法 收集2019年3月至2021年2月上海市松江区中心医院所有因呼吸道感染就诊的患者5 769例(其中男性3 335例,女性2 434例,年龄3 d~86岁)的血清样本,采用间接免疫荧光法同时检测呼吸道合胞病毒(respiratory syncytial virus,RSV)、腺病毒(adenovirus,ADV)、流感病毒A型(influenza A virus,INFA)、流感病毒B型(influenza B virus,INFB)、副流感病毒(parainfluenza virus,PIV)、肺炎支原体(mycoplasma pneumoniae,MP)、肺炎衣原体(chlamydia pneumoniae,CP)及嗜肺军团菌(legionella pneumophila,LP),对所得结果进行卡方检验分析。结果 2019年3月至2020年2月的3 579例呼吸道感染患者中呼吸道病原体谱抗体IgM检测结果为阳性者279例,阳性率为7.8%(279/3 579);其中阳性率相对较高的病原体是INFB和INFA,阳性率分别为3.16%(113/3 579)和1.06%(38/3 579)。2020年3月至2021年2月2 190例呼吸道感染患者中呼吸道病原体谱抗体IgM检测结果为阳性者284例,阳性率为12.97%(284/2 190);其中阳性率相对较高的病原体是INFB和INFA,阳性率分别为7.21%(158/2 190)和3.88%(85/2 190)。结论 新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情前后松江区呼吸道病原体抗体IgM检测阳性率的分布有差异。
