Research progress of assessment tools for adults' oral health literacy assessment

Abstract

Abstract:

Oral diseases are common and frequent diseases affecting the health of Chinese residents. Oral health literacy assessment is important basis for formulating oral health literacy management plans. To achieve good oral management and reduce the social and economic burden, it is of great significance to monitor, evaluate, and take measures to improve the population' oral health literacy. This article reviews the main content, characteristics, advantages, and limitations of commonly used comprehensive measurement tools for adult oral health literacy, so as to provide references for clinical nurses to choose appropriate assessment tools.

摘要：

口腔疾病是影响我国居民健康的常见病、多发病，口腔健康素养评估是制订口腔健康素养管理方案的重要依据，积极监测、评估并采取措施提升人群的口腔健康素养水平对实现良好的口腔管理、减轻社会经济负担具有重要意义。本文对常用的成人口腔健康素养综合测量工具的主要内容、特点、优势及局限性进行综述，以期为临床医护选择适宜的评估工具提供参考。
