Abstract: Objective To explore the construction and practice of artificial intelligence in the pre-review system of children's inpatient medical orders. Methods A total of 100 hospitalized children in Children's Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2019 to April 2020 were select as a control group, and received routine pre-review of medical orders; 100 hospitalized children from May 2020 to May 2021 were select as an observation group, and received pre-review of medical orders based on artificial intelligence system. The observation group was (4.52±1.12) years old, including 76 males and 24 females; the control group was (4.96±1.45) years old, including 77 males and 23 females. The safety of drug use was compared between the two groups. Independent sample t test was used for measurement data, and χ2 test was used for count data. Results The proportion of irrational medical orders in the observation group was 32.00% (32/ 100), which was lower than 50.00% (50/100) in the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction degree of family members in the observation group was 95.00% (95/100), which was higher than 70.00% (70/100) in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Artificial intelligence has a high application value in the pre-review system of children's inpatient medical orders, which can promote the clinical rational use of drugs, improve the safety of children's drug use, and has a good application effect.
