Abstract:

This article comprehensively analyzes the relationship between dizziness/vertigo and posterior circulation ischemia in the elderly, points out the main symptoms of posterior circulation ischemia and the clinical manifestations and common diseases of posterior circulation ischemia, and introduces the examination items of posterior circulation ischemia and their advantages in detail and how to choose an appropriate examination method according to the conditions, so as to provide help for clinicians to fully understand dizziness/vertigo and posterior circulation ischemia in the elderly.
