Research progress of hypoxia-inducible factor-1ɑ in ischemic heart disease

缺氧诱导因子-1ɑ在缺血性心脏病治疗中的研究进展

Abstract: Hypoxia-inducible factor-1 (HIF-1), a heterodimer consisting of alpha and beta subunit, is induced by hypoxia and expressed in a variety of cells. The alpha subunit of HIF-1 is the active one, which plays a key role in response of cells to hypoxia. Current studies have shown that pathology and physiology of myocardial metabolism, myocardial protection, angiogenesis, and atherosclerosis are all implicated with HIF-1ɑ. These lead to the suggestion that HIF-1ɑ can be a target for effective myocardial protection therapy. Meanwhile, our previous studies have indicated that expression of HIF-1ɑ is up-regulated in the early stage of acute myocardial infarction, implying that HIF-1ɑ can be a potential cardiac marker and serves as an auxiliary index of the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction.

摘要: 缺氧诱导因子-1(hypoxia-inducible factor-1,HIF-1)是一种广泛表达于多种细胞内的异源二聚体转录因子,由HIF-1ɑ和HIF-1β两个亚基组成,其中HIF-1ɑ为其活性亚基,在组织细胞对缺氧环境的适应过程中起重要调节作用。目前研究表明,HIF-1ɑ还在心肌代谢、缺氧条件下的心肌保护、血管生成、动脉粥样硬化等方面扮演重要角色,将有助于未来设计更有效的心肌保护治疗方案。 同时,HIF-1ɑ在急性心肌梗死早期表达升高,是一种潜在的心肌损伤标志物,可能作为急性心肌梗死诊断的辅助指标。
