Detection of allergens in patients with allergic diseases at a traditional Chinese hospital in Guangzhou

广州市某中医院过敏性疾病过敏原检测分析

Abstract: Objective To analyze the allergens in patients with allergic diseases. Methods The allergen specific immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies in 507 patients treated at Department of Pediatrics, Department of Respiratory Medicine, and Department of Otolaryngology at Guangdong Second Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2019 to October 2020 were detected by the immunoblotting. The allergen distribution and statistical differences were analyzed by χ2. Results Among the 507 patients, there were 267 males and 240 females, and they were 2-90 years old. Four hundred and two patients were positive in the allergen detection, with a positive rate of 79.4% (212/267) in the male and a positive rate of 79.2% (190/240) in the female, and there was no statistical difference between the male and the female (χ2=0.82, P>0.05). There were statistical differences in the positive rate between the age groups (χ2=36.92, P<0.05) and between seasons (χ2=45.60, P<0.05). The positive rate of inhaled allergens was higher than that of ingested allergens; the main inhaled allergens were household dust mites [62.2% (250/402)] , dust mites [56% (225/402)], and cockroaches [50% (201/402)], and the main ingested allergens were egg white [22.9% (92/402) and milk [19.9% (80/402)]. Conclusions The main allergens in patients at Guangdong Second Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine are household dust mites , dust mites, milk, egg white, and cockroaches. There are differences between age groups, and seasons.

摘要: 目的 探讨过敏性患者的过敏原情况。方法 共纳入2019年11月至2020年10月期间来广东省第二中医院儿科、呼吸科、耳鼻喉科等科室就诊的507例患者为研究对象,采用免疫印迹法进行过敏原特异性免疫球蛋白E(immunoglobulin E,IgE)抗体检测,用χ2检验分析过敏原分布情况及统计学差异。结果 在507患者标本中,男267例,女240例,年龄2~90岁。过敏原检测结果阳性者402例,其中男性阳性率为79.4%(212/267),女性阳性率79.2%(190/240),两者差异无统计学意义(χ2=0.82,P>0.05)。而过敏原阳性年龄分布差异有统计学意义(χ2=36.92,P<0.05),季节分布差异有统计学意义(χ2=45.60,P<0.05)。其中吸入性过敏原阳性率高于食入性过敏原,吸入性过敏原主要以户尘螨(62.2%,250/402)、粉尘螨(55.9%,225/402)及蟑螂(50.0%,201/402)为主,食入性过敏原以鸡蛋白(22.9%,92/402)和牛奶(19.9%,80/402)为主。结论 广东省第二中医院过敏性患者的过敏原以户尘螨、粉尘螨、牛奶、鸡蛋白和蟑螂为主,不同年龄和季节分布存在一定差异,日常生活可以重点关注。
